Two elements of art I took in my photographs are Color and Line. For the element of color I took a photo of some pink flowers with green leaves. I took a picture of this because these colors are opposites from each other. I made the colors the main focus by zooming in on the flowers and leaves so that it was the only focus and no other colors would show up. I used a high angle to take the picture from the top of the plant. Then for the line element I took a photo of a big leaf. I got close to the leaf and zoomed in as close as I could to be able to get the details on it. The leaf had many lines on it and they were all different so I used that photograph for Line. For the line element I also used a high angle because I needed to get the top of the leaf to get the full details. From those two photographs I think that I photographed Line best because I got all the lines and details on the leaf.

For the texture photograph I used camera mode of AV, shutter speed of 1/250, aperture of F11, and ISO of 800. These camera settings affected my image because the ISO that I used made the image not too dark but also not too light. I used shallow depth of field for this image because I wanted for the object which is the plant to be the main focus, so I adjusted my camera for the background to blur. A challenge that I had was trying to find something to photograph. I walked around looking for plants that had a nice texture to photograph.

For the shape element I edited the photo so that it was less blurred, because when I first took the photo it was a little blurry. Then I made the shadows darker so that the background would be darker and you could see the shape of the plants more. The darker background also brought out the color of the plants more. A skill I improved on was getting my camera more in focus and capturing small details.
